I conducted a survey of 10 questions to help me with audience research, Producing a survey would enable me to gain insight into what age and gender my audience is. As well as this, the genre, conventions and how they expect a horror movie to be marketed.
All of this information allows me to create a trailer that is specifically targeted towards a particular audience. From the analysis of the survey I now know certain things I should carry out to make it appeal to my audience.

Preliminary Task

This is a trailer my group and I made as a practice horror trailer before researching and planning for our main horror trailer. We decided to do this to get an idea of how to film and edit a trailer using basic tools in Premier Pro. Although, this is not very professional it is something we can improve on ready for our main trailer to make it as effective as possible.
